Ceylon Tea Trails receives multiple TripAdvisor awards

 


Travelers' Choice honoured Ceylon Tea Trails in the World and Asia categories at this year's TripAdvisor awards. With the largest online travel group with more than 50 million unique monthly users, the TripAdvisor awards are respected and coveted worldwide. Tea Trails stole spots in the categories for Top 25 Boutique Luxury Hotels in the World, Top 25 Small Hotels in Asia and Top 25 Romance Hotels in Asia.

Ceylon Tea Trails includes five restored historic tea planters bungalows, Summerville, Castlereagh, Dunkeld, Norwood, and Tientsin, situated in the picturesque highland area of Sri Lanka at an altitude of 1250 metres. The 27 rooms and suites featuring period furnishings, gracious butler service and gourmet cuisine create an atmosphere that has made Tea Trails Sri Lanka the gold standard for luxury.

Cape Weligama and Wild Coast Tented Inn Yala set a fresh trend for luxury beach resorts and luxury safari lodges respectively, the 15-year journey that began with Ceylon Tea Trails. Cape Weligama has become one of the world's most famous beach resorts, included in Harper's Bazaar list of 150 best hotels.

Wild Coast Tented Lodge Yala is a leader in sustainable design and practise, and its creative architecture has won accolades. Most recently, Escape.com named it as one of six resorts with the world's best sustainable practices.

Sri Lanka's tourism business is one of the fastest-growing economic sectors in the country with many business/investment opportunities. Sri Lanka has enjoyed top positions in many globally renowned travel publications as a must-visit destination. Hence all of these factors have resulted in many leading global brands in the leisure, hospitality and leisure industry sectors showing interest in Sri Lanka.

Also, the development of Sri Lanka's tourism industry will receive a further impetus by the productivity of Sri Lankan authorities to suppress the spread of COVID 19, making Sri Lanka a safe travel destination. OSL Take: Sri Lanka's tourism authorities have commenced promotional campaigns to attract visitors to the country following the setback faced COVID19. The administration of Sri Lanka has already introduced a relief platform to the tourism sector. Given all these developments, the country's tourism industry is showing signs of revival. Many foreign investors have already expressed confidence in the country's tourism industry, and it's growth potential. Therefore, international businesses/investors could explore business/investment opportunities in Sri Lanka's tourism sector.
